Samsung Smart TV: Enjoy Big Gaming Updates

Good news is coming for Samsung TV owners, especially for those who love video games.

The Samsung Gaming Hub is one of the exclusive features available to owners of the company’s Smart TVs. Within this hub, users can access all kinds of games as well as services like Xbox Game Pass, giving them a subscription loaded with titles across all genres. Additionally, Samsung is trying to make gaming on TV more intuitive—not just offering cloud play, but creating gaming experiences that can be enjoyed easily using the TV remote.

Samsung is also emphasizing social gaming on the TV. With so many people using their connected TVs, allowing users to play together makes perfect sense. To enhance this social gaming experience, the company has announced new collaborations designed to bring families together in front of the TV, sharing games just like in the early days of console gaming.

According to Samsung, these new partnerships will make them a leader in providing multiple ways to play directly from the TV. They have signed three new collaborations: PHȲND, Volley, and GameLoop.

The goal is to expand the philosophy started with GameBreaks—small, fun, simple games integrated into Samsung TVs. These collaborations aim to allow users to play easily, either with the TV remote or via their mobile devices, without downloads and in a dynamic way.

Samsung has also created games that use artificial intelligence to offer new forms of entertainment. These include voice-controlled games based on popular shows like Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy!, as well as music-based games like Song Quiz and Karaoke. By integrating these into their Smart TVs, Samsung aims to provide extensive entertainment options.

PHȲND is a cloud gaming service that is free to use and offers a wide variety of games, from casual to more ambitious titles. Some social games will be exclusive to Samsung Smart TVs, playable with either the remote or a mobile device—perfect for households with multiple players.

GameLoop is another new addition, featuring live hosts that make games more immersive. Its catalog includes puzzles, classic arcades, and party-style games, all available for free on Samsung Smart TVs.

To access the new games when they become available, follow these steps:

  • Update your Smart TV to the latest version via Settings → Support → Software Update.
  • Enter the Samsung Gaming Hub.
  • Go to the Social Games section to check if GameLoop, PHȲND, or Volley are available (note that releases may not be simultaneous).
  • Select the service and the game you want to play.

All games from these Samsung Gaming Hub services can be enjoyed directly on your TV without any downloads.
