Razer reaffirmed its commitment to sustainability and innovation, emphasizing how these initiatives are part of its mission to deliver immersive gaming experiences while reducing environmental impact.

In line with its commitment to sustainability, RazerCon 2024 was streamed live with a carbon-neutral footprint, powered by renewable energy. Razer highlighted significant strides in its #GoGreenWithRazer sustainability roadmap, reporting an 86% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions and setting a target for 65% of all brand products to be made from recycled materials. They also announced their membership in the Playing for the Planet Alliance, an initiative supported by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), which promotes the use of creativity and technology to address global environmental challenges. Fans were able to enjoy the live stream and rewatch the full event on official channels.

Among the most notable innovations was the unveiling of Razer Freyja, the world’s first HD haptic gaming device, offering a completely new tactile experience. Powered by Razer Sensa HD Haptics, Freyja enables users to feel every impact, vibration, and in-game event with precise sensory feedback. Equipped with six haptic actuators, this device provides multidirectional feedback, fully immersing players in the game. Explosions, gunfire, and even subtle vibrations are experienced with impressive detail. Freyja also integrates with Razer Synapse 4, allowing users to customize the intensity of sensations, creating a unique experience for each game.

Another standout product was the Razer Kraken V4 Pro, elevating auditory immersion to a new level. These wireless headphones feature Razer Sensa HD Haptics and Razer Chroma RGB, along with an OLED control center for real-time audio customization. The Kraken V4 Pro is designed with next-generation connectivity options like Razer HyperSpeed Wireless, Bluetooth, USB, and a 3.5mm jack, ensuring a seamless experience across PC, console, and mobile devices. Its capability to mix 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth audio simultaneously provides a rich, immersive listening experience. The retractable Razer HyperClear Super Wideband microphone was also highlighted for its clear, crisp voice quality, ideal for multiplayer gaming communication.

The event also introduced cooling innovations with the Razer Laptop Cooling Pad, an intelligent cooling solution for 14- to 18-inch laptops. Featuring smart fan control, a sealed pressure chamber, and high-speed fans, this device allows gamers to keep their laptops at optimal temperatures during extended gaming sessions. Additionally, an improvement to Intel Thunderbolt Share for the Razer Blade 18 (2024) was announced, enabling peripheral sharing between two PCs and file transfers at speeds of up to 40 Gbps—a key feature for users needing power and flexibility.

Finally, Razer officially launched Razer Synapse 4, a significant evolution of its customization software. This new system, with a 61% improvement in processing speed, enables smoother and more efficient configuration for all Razer devices, featuring a modernized interface and advanced functions like Razer Hypershift and Sensitivity Calibration Matcher.
