11 Dic Microsoft Introduces New PC Gaming Technology: Edge Game Assist
PC gaming has always been considered a niche—not because of its player base size, but due to factors unrelated to its audience. Interestingly, in recent years, it has become increasingly accessible, with companies like Microsoft and Sony entering the scene with exclusive titles and innovative technologies now available to a wider range of users.

Microsoft’s case is particularly noteworthy—not only because of their consistent interest but also because they develop the Windows operating system, enabling them to offer significant enhancements and features for gaming.

Microsoft has now unveiled Edge Game Assist, an extension for their default browser, Microsoft Edge. This tool can be used to search for guides or tips for specific games through integration with the Microsoft Game Bar, which has been around for several years.

Currently in its experimental phase, Edge Game Assist is available only to “preview” users under certain conditions, including using Windows 11. Some games, such as Baldur’s Gate III and Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, will feature custom guides, while for other titles, users will need to search for assistance manually using the extension.

Will something similar arrive on Xbox consoles? While nothing has been announced yet, it wouldn’t be surprising. In the meantime, we recommend exploring the Xbox Game Pass catalog, which likely includes games that will soon be fully compatible with Edge Game Assist.
