18 Ago Mario Kart World Gets Its Biggest Update Yet
The biggest update to Mario Kart World so far is now available, and it not only fixes several technical issues but also introduces some exciting changes to existing content.

Version 1.2.0 is now live for all Switch 2 users. One of the most notable changes is an increased appearance rate for classic three-lap tracks in online VS races. Additionally, the aggressiveness of the AI in these modes has been toned down—except in Battle mode, where it remains unchanged.

ut that’s not all. The update also brings:
- New item rule options in VS mode
- Improved multiplayer camera behavior
- The ability to watch replays after downloading ghosts in Time Trial

Furthermore, multiple bugs have been fixed, including issues on tracks like Bowser’s Castle, Rainbow Road, Whistlestop Summit, and Choco Mountain. Object system glitches, animation problems, and shortcut accessibility have also been addressed.

With this update, Nintendo reaffirms its commitment to delivering the best possible experience for Mario Kart fans around the world.
