Fortnite typically showcases mechanics, content (skins, weapons, etc.), and other elements in its trailers. Galactic Battle Royale should be no different, and this is what we expect to find. In the trailer, and through information revealed through rumors and leaks, we’ve been given many details about the season’s content.

Regarding the start date, it will begin on May 2nd and end on June 7th of this year. It will be divided into different themed phases, all based on the Imperial invasion and the fight between the native forces. According to various leaks, the season finale would be marked by an assault on the Death Star, with its destruction serving as the farewell event for Fortnite Galactic Battle Royale.  The teaser gave us a glimpse into what the season’s plot could be. As soon as the video starts, we see Palpatine preparing to fire the Death Star’s plasma cannon. Most likely, the objective of the season will be to prevent it, so we would have to fight against it and its army to keep them from destroying Fortnite’s planet.

Additionally, it seems like it will be something like an alternate reality or some kind of distortion, as both the bus and most of the spaceships that appear enter through a crack in the sky. This would explain why Jar Jar Binks (who has fulfilled one of the craziest theories on the internet) appears as a Sith Lord, among other things.

Skins
During the trailer, we can see many characters from the franchise and different cosmetic items. Among them (we cannot confirm that they will be 100% skins), we can see:

• Palpatine
• Luke Skywalker
• The Mandalorian
• Jetpack Troopers
• Chewbacca Costume
• Mace Windu
• Evie Jedi
• Is Jar Jar Binks a Sith? 

Spaceships
During the trailer, we also saw quite a few ships. Logically, we think—given the season’s theme (Fortnite Galactic Battle)—that we’ll be able to pilot or visit the ones we saw in the trailer.

• Possible locations: Imperial Destroyer, Death Star
• Possible pilotable ships: TTIE Fighter, X-wing Starfighter

Weapons and Gameplay
Other new features the season could bring based on what we saw in the trailer (beyond the mannable ships) are weapons, utility items, and powers.
The Mandalorian’s blaster, lightsabers, and other rifles previously seen in Star Wars will likely be in the mix. Jetpacks could also return. Additionally, it’s likely that the Sith Lord’s energy beams will be usable, should that be possible.
