Deezer plans to tag AI-generated tracks, allowing listeners to make informed choices between human and AI content. They will also remove AI tracks from recommendation algorithms. While AI-generated music is being uploaded daily, Deezer notes that most of it remains unstreamed and doesn’t impact the performance of real artists. However, the AI content can still dilute the catalog and be used for fraudulent purposes.
