Clear River Games, a video game publisher specializing in classic and retro games, in collaboration with the Japanese publisher City Connection, announced today that the RIKI 8Bit GAME Collection will arrive in Europe starting November 28 on Nintendo® Switch™.

From the mind of renowned Japanese manga artist RIKI, the RIKI 8Bit GAME Collection offers not one, but five retro-inspired games and music albums to explore, all beautifully crafted in classic pixel art and featuring the same addictive, twitch-based gameplay from the golden era of gaming.

A must-have for any retro gaming fan or anyone looking for something unique to discover, the RIKI 8Bit GAME Collection includes the following titles:

Kira Kira Star Night! – Reach for the stars (you’ll have to collect plenty!) in this easy-to-play, surreal action-platformer that’s accessible for everyone. Choose from three unique characters and enjoy the incredible chiptune soundtrack featuring composers like KUNIO, Takeaki Kunimoto, Yuriko Keino, Yuzo Koshiro, Nobuyuki Shioda, Tappy, Manabu Namiki, hally, Bun, Manami Matsumae, Takeshi Yokemura, Robokabuto, and Yasuhisa Watanabe.

Astro Ninja Man DX – Sharpen your aim as you defend yourself from descending hordes of enemies with simple controls and relentless gameplay. It’s a sensory overload that becomes progressively harder as you improve! Your clones are invincible, so the goal here is to achieve the highest score! Composers include Hiroto Saitoh, Nobuyuki Shioda, Bun, and Manabu Namiki.

8BIT MUSIC POWER – A musical album featuring the best of chiptune music. It includes a total of 11 composers, including legendary video game composers who created some of the most beloved video game songs in history, as well as modern composers who worked on classic anime. Enjoy watching the screen while moving to the beat, with 12 tracks totaling 44 minutes. Composers include Omodaka (Soichi Terada), Masahiro Kajihara, Takeaki Kunimoto, Yuriko Keino, Saitone, Professor Sakamoto, Hiroaki Sano, Nobuyuki Shioda, Tappy, hally, and Keishi Yonao.

8BIT MUSIC POWER FINAL – The second chiptune album in the collection, offering another treat for the ears with performances from 18 composers at the peak of their careers. Kirara-chan from Kira Kira Star Night dances in the background as the music plays. There are 18 tracks with a total duration of 52 minutes, and composers include IPPO (Ippo Yamada), Manabu Namiki, Yu Shimoda, ZUN, SEXY-SYNTHESIZER, Tappy, TECHNOuchi, TORIENA, Norio Nakagata, Junya Nakano, naruto, hally, Hige Driver, Motoaki Furukawa, Bun, Manami Matsumae, Takeshi Yokemura, and Yasuhisa Watanabe.

8BIT MUSIC POWER ENCORE – Rounding out the compilation, the third and final chiptune album serves as a perfect encore to the RIKI experience. BIT-chan from 8BIT MUSIC POWER dances in the background, with 14 tracks totaling 42 minutes. Composers include Takeshi Abo, Kenichi Arakawa, Omodaka (Soichi Terada), Saitone, Hiroto Saitoh, Nobuyuki Shioda, Yu Shimoda, Tomoya Tomita, Takuya Hanaoka, hally, Hige Driver, Bun, Yousuke Yasui, and Keishi Yonao.

Available for digital download starting November 28, the RIKI 8Bit GAME Collection will also have a physical release planned for early 2025. The digital release on Nintendo Switch will be priced at €19.99/USD, and the physical release with a CD soundtrack will be €39.99/USD.
