15 Sep The Big Change in Battlefield 6
A standout year in which the popular first-person shooter saga plans to make a grand comeback, as demonstrated by its highly successful open beta. The game will be available on October 10 and will launch with several changes compared to the beta version.

Changes coming to Battlefield 6 at launch:
The Battlefield 6 team highlights that “momentum has been reduced, especially the horizontal speed carried over from a slide into a jump. There is now a greater penalty for consecutive jumps, reducing jump height when repeated.

Shooting while jumping or sliding will now result in lower accuracy. These changes are designed to make sliding and jumping more situational, so they are no longer ideal options for engaging in firefights, and will contribute to a gameplay pace that rewards skillful movement without becoming too fast or unpredictable.”

These highlighted changes confirm the level of attention being given to ensure Battlefield 6 is polished down to the smallest detail. In addition, the developers noted that although the maps in the beta were intentionally smaller, the full game will feature the franchise’s traditional large-scale maps
