Call of Duty: Mobile introduces a wild dystopia in Season 5 – Primal Reckoning

The deadliest predators are on the prowl in Call of Duty: Mobile Season 5 Primal Reckoning, available May 28 in Mexico City.

The new Battle Pass features a collection of Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, and more, all encapsulated in a dystopian future theme, inspired by the most recent collaboration with NieR: Automata. It includes a themed event featuring Operator Kui Ji – YoRHa No. 9 Type S and two lotteries featuring Operators Kestrel – YoRHa No. 2 Type B and Fiona St. George – Commander White.

Taken from the original Call of Duty: Black Ops, it returns for the mobile version. This medium-sized map challenges Operators to survive in an abandoned zoo with a massive monorail track running through the decaying facility. Perfectly fitting the season’s dystopian theme, Zoo features a creative design incorporating animal pens, gift shops, and other attractions in a neglected and abandoned environment.

Purchase weapons, perks, and scorestreaks at the multiple Buy Stations that appear throughout the map. Explore your surroundings to earn money and purchase useful items such as ammo refills, armor, and unique weapons like the Purifier Flamethrower. Eliminated Operators will drop their money, so buy yourself something nice.

New Themed Event: NieR: Automata
Control the elite YoRHa unit in their counteroffensive against the machine lifeforms in an exciting collaborative event with NieR: Automata. Complete objectives to earn Action Points that you can use to advance along a branching path.

Reach checkpoints, explore counterattack routes, and collect Skill Tokens to unlock exclusive routes. Successfully execute the counterattack to earn rewards such as the Kui Ji Operator — YoRHa No. 9 Type S — and four different NieR-inspired melee weapons.

The Battle Pass includes free and premium items, such as new Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, Calling Cards, and additional Call of Duty Points to spend on your next Premium Pass or purchase in the store.

Keep the enemy at bay with the new VMP SMG, a versatile weapon with a high rate of fire, high-capacity magazine, and moderate recoil. Give your Combat Axe a new look with a new skin and earn other free rewards.

Premium Pass Tiers
Purchase the Premium Pass for a chance to unlock all available content, including relentless hunters like Gustavo — Viciousness, Lazarus — Scrim Net, American Bulldog — Tentacles, and Kitsune — Blue Line Optic. Track your prey and eliminate them with weapon blueprints like the Koshka — Snow Leopard, Hades — Scales, ASM10 — Birds of Prey, LW3-Tundra — Hunter Tracker, and the PVM — Stun Slash, based on the new Season 5 weapon.

Season 5 Challenge Pass and Hidden Containers
Complete Standard, Special, and Elite Missions to progress through the Season 5 Challenge Pass. Use the Challenge Tokens you earn to purchase items in the Exchange, including a new Smoke Grenade skin, a new epic skin for the Bathysphere — Killer Whale operator, camouflage crates, and over a dozen Hidden Containers of varying rarities.

Hidden Containers have been updated in Season 5 with the new AK-47 — ICB, replacing the previously available Legendary Stun Baton. This new weapon comes with new system updates, with the introduction of Universal Shards. These shards can be used to obtain future container rewards depending on the type, so if you’ve already completed the Mythic AK-117, you’ll now earn Universal Mythic Shards to use on the next Mythic we release.

Check the in-game Events tab throughout the season for new Quests and rewards. For more information on seasonal activities, please refer to the Quest Board or the General Events space located in the main menu.

New Mythic Weapon Giveaway: Leader and weaponsmith Rin Yoshida is willing to do whatever it takes to succeed. This Giveaway includes the Operator, as well as the new Mythic weapon MPV — Toxic Blooms, forged from hardened plasma crystals and designed to eradicate enemies with unearthly precision.
