In the second episode of the second season of The Last of Us, the hit HBO series based on the iconic video game saga that is already winning the hearts of millions, many will have been surprised as something happens that will completely shape the development of the story, something that many didn’t see coming.

Joel’s death at the hands of Abby, under Ellie’s gaze, is one of the most important events in this story, if not the most important, because from here on, at least in the games, everything will be about this.
