Lenovo Gaming News for 2025: Laptops, Handheld Consoles, Monitors, and More

Lenovo has just announced at CES 2025 its new lineup of gaming devices for this year, featuring laptops, desktop PCs, and handheld consoles.

Lenovo introduced the Lenovo Legion GO S, a handheld console that, unlike the Legion GO, runs natively on SteamOS (the first to do so aside from the Steam Deck), making it an excellent choice for Steam gaming platform users.

It features an 8-inch WUXGA 16:10 display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The joysticks utilize Hall effect sensors, preventing the usual drift issues found in controllers. It is available with the new AMD Ryzen Z2 Go processor or the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme, paired with up to 32 GB of RAM.

Additionally, Lenovo showcased a prototype of the second generation of the Legion GO, its first handheld console launched last year. The major updates include an OLED screen, a larger battery, and up to twice the RAM.

Lenovo Gaming Laptops
Lenovo introduced two new gaming laptop models: the Lenovo Legion Pro 7i, Lenovo Legion Pro 5i, and Lenovo Legion Pro 5. These 10th-generation models feature 16-inch displays and are powered by the latest laptop processors from Intel and AMD.

Lenovo Legion Pro 7i & Lenovo Legion Pro 5i
Both models are equipped with the Intel Core Ultra 275HX processor, featuring 24 cores (8 performance and 14 efficiency) and 24 threads. They include RGB lighting and house the new NVIDIA RTX 50 series graphics cards. The 16-inch OLED display supports up to 240 Hz refresh rate.

Lenovo Legion Pro 5
Unlike the “i” versions, the Lenovo Legion Pro 5 is powered by the AMD Ryzen 9955HX processor with 16 cores and 32 threads. It features multiple ventilation grilles, turbo fans, and copper heat pipes for superior thermal management. The 16-inch WQXGA OLED display supports up to 165 Hz refresh rate.

Lenovo Gaming Desktops
Lenovo also took the opportunity to unveil its new gaming desktop PCs, including the Lenovo Legion Tower 7i, Lenovo Legion Tower 5i, and Lenovo Legion Tower 5. The first two are powered by the Intel Core Ultra 275HX, while the latter is available with the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D. Graphics options range from the NVIDIA RTX 4060 Ti to the RTX 4080 SUPER.

Lenovo Gaming Monitors
Lenovo introduced the Legion Pro 34WD-10, a 34-inch 800R curved monitor with PureSight OLED technology, a 240 Hz refresh rate, and a 0.03 ms response time. It supports 98.5% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, making it perfect for video editing. Additional features include WQHD resolution, USB-C, HDMI, and DisplayPort connectivity.

Other features:

  • Picture-in-Picture & Picture-by-Picture modes
  • KVM switch & RGB lighting
  • Dark Boost technology for balancing dark and bright areas
  • On-screen reticle for improved aiming precision

Lenovo also introduced the Legion R34W, a 34-inch 1500R curved monitor with 180 Hz refresh rate, 0.5 ms response time, UWQHD resolution, and 99% sRGB and 90% DCI-P3 color coverage.

Lenovo Legion H410 Headset
The Lenovo Legion H410 headset features surround sound and 40 mm closed-back drivers for complete noise isolation. It supports Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz wireless connectivity, has a foldable microphone, an ergonomic design, and is optimized for long gaming sessions.
